Pairing HUD & PC

The SL Now Playing HUD and the SL Now Playing PC Application work together.

Before SL Now Playing can display information from your PC in Second Life, your HUD must be connected to the PC application.

Before You Start

Make sure that:

Pair Your HUD and PC

  1. Attach the SL Now Playing HUD in Second Life.
  2. Start the SL Now Playing PC Application.
  3. Use the pairing option provided by SL Now Playing.
  4. Follow the instructions shown during the pairing process.
  5. Wait until SL Now Playing confirms that the connection was successful.

Once pairing is complete, your HUD and PC application are ready to work together.

Do I Need to Pair Every Time?

Normally, you should not need to repeat the complete pairing process every time you use SL Now Playing.

Start the PC application and attach your HUD when you want to use SL Now Playing.

If SL Now Playing requires a new pairing, follow the pairing process again.

Using a New Computer

If you move SL Now Playing to another computer, a new setup or pairing process may be required.

Pairing Does Not Work

If the HUD and PC application cannot establish a connection:

  1. Make sure the PC application is running.
  2. Make sure the correct SL Now Playing HUD is attached.
  3. Check your internet connection.
  4. Restart the PC application and try again.
  5. If necessary, restart the pairing process.
